Amazing, Extraordinary, Tremendous: The 3-Minute iPad Keynote [VIDEO]

Steve Jobs’s stage presence and speech delivery are second to none. So what’s his secret? Adjectives!

The folks at NeilCurtis.com decided to condense the iPad keynote into a much more digestible format while keeping the most important sound bites intact with everything you need to know in order to whip out your credit card come March.

The 180 second bite-sized version of the iPad announcement serves as a hilarious look at the abundant use of adjectives and superlatives during Jobs’s presentation. Don’t be surprised if you hear a lot of the following: Extraordinary. Phenomenal. Far better. Simple. Wonderful. Great. Gorgeous. Awesome. Super. Huge. Tremendous. Amazing. Terrific. Exciting. Beautiful.

iPhone OS 4.0: Already in the Wild?

iPhone OS 4.0: Already in the Wild?

Seems that the iPhone OS 4.o rumours are gathering some momentum once again.

Mashable reports that some more users are beginning to notice mentions of the OS in their website logs lately.

It will be interesting to see what Apple has in store for the new OS next year if indeed these reports turn out to be true.

With the new Google Phone (aka Nexus One) allegedly now set for a January 2010 launch, the feeling is that Apple really need to do something fairly earth shattering with the next gen iPhone and OS 4.0 to stay ahead of the game. Also reports about the new Google Phone are so far so good!

Anyway, check out the link below to Mashable.

Spotify struggles with demand for Christmas tunes!

Spotify struggles with demand for Christmas tunes!

Seems like internet music streaming service Spotify has been struggling to keep up with the demand for Christmas tunes. Some users have been reporting slow performance and songs streaming in super slow-mo for the past 24 hours or so!
A statement from the company says:
“Spotify has seen a huge surge in use over the Christmas period as music fans search out their festive favourites. As a result an extremely small percentage of users may have been affected over the past 24 hours.”
“We’ve moved quickly to add extra servers so this should see Spotify back at full capacity. Apologies to anyone who may have been been temporarily affected – we’re always working hard to ensure you experience the best music service possible.”
Hopefully this is resolved sooner rather then later. As a regular Spotify Premium user i love the service they provide and know what a great service it is. However, stories like this do nothing to help their profile with a US launch imminent in early 2010.
